Winter Workshop

We have an annual workshop in the winter where we share a meal and sing, rehearse, gain techniques from 10am-4pm.  A great way to get to know one another!

Our next one is booked for Saturday, 17th October 2026.

Our  Next  Concert

Our Christmas Concert will be held on Saturday, 28th November 2026 at the Shirley Methodist Church at 7:30pm

So that we could meet up during the summer when we were not rehearsing, we chose Lloyd Park from 2-5pm.  Bring your own picnic and chair, along with family & friends, we suggested.

It was the 2nd heatwave in 2026 and only 12 signed up for it, so Shirley & Terry McCarthy changed the venue to their home, along with a swimming pool.

It was all great fun, some swam, some played Jenga whilst others chatted.

It was an enjoyable occasion and we apologise to Marlene who came late to Lloyd Park and had a solo picnic!

The Vivettes - We are a barbershop quartet!  Guests at the May 2026 Concert

We have been singing together for just over a year.

Grace, our Baritone, has been singing barbershop since the age of 14. Amy, our lead, has been singing since childhood in church choirs and school productions and discovered barbershop 17 years ago. Our classically trained Tenor Lindsay, turned to barbershop 16 years ago after many years performing as a soloist at various weddings, amateur operas and Eisteddfods. Sue, our Bass, has been singing barbershop for around two years now.

We are also members of the award-winning chorus, "Viva Acappella".

SHUFFLEBOARD   EVENT

During the Autumn of 2025, Adrian came along with his shuffleboards and we tried our 'skills' at pushing discs into the numbered alleys to score the most points.  It was great fun and we had a shared buffet with cake!

QUIZ NIGHT

IMG_8458_edited.jpg

On 11th April 2026 we held a Quiz Night with a difference.  Geoff came along with his wife Jackie and stretched our brains with some fun and very different rounds; even making a paper aeroplane and who could fly it the furthest.

We laid the tables with a Ploughman's platter and of course, cake!

Again, another fundraiser which did appear popular!
